Updated July 1, 2011 13:17:00 A man accused of murdering another at Lameroo by deliberately driving his car at the victim has been granted home detention bail, in the South Australian Supreme Court.
Prosecutors sought a review after a magistrate granted bail to Lee Nugent, 31.
They argued Nugent could flee if released from custody and said the case against him was strong.
Nugent's lawyer argued the man immediately returned to the scene to administer CPR to the victim, a 39-year-old man from Mannum, and had not evaded authorities.
His lawyer said Nugent had a young child and strong family connections to keep him in Port Augusta.
Justice Margaret Nyland granted home detention bail and said Nugent must wear an electronic monitor and be under strict supervision by community corrections officers.
